The official link goes through Meta's business platform instead of a QR scan. Your number stays on the WhatsApp Business app on your phone, while the bot and campaigns run from the dashboard. You also get interactive buttons and message templates approved by Meta.

How it works

  1. Turn on official

    From the Plans page: try it free, subscribe to the add-on, or use a plan that includes it.

  2. Link your number

    On the Devices page, click «Connect an official number» and complete Meta's window.

  3. Prepare your templates

    Create a template from the Campaigns page; once Meta approves it, you can send it to customers.

Limits

  • Free-form replies work within 24 hours of the customer's last message. After that you send an approved template, which is Meta's rule.
  • Meta charges for template messages, and the fees are paid to Meta directly from your account there, not from your subscription with us.
  • Meta approves templates and sets your number's quality rating and how many messages it can send per day.
  • Meta does not offer groups, statuses or number checks on official. For those, link a «library» by QR on the same number.

Do I lose the WhatsApp Business app on my phone?

No. The link runs the number on Meta's platform and the app together, so you can reply from your phone and from the dashboard.

How much does official WhatsApp cost?

A monthly add-on to your plan, with its price on the Pricing page, and the Business plan includes one official number. There is also a free trial, once per account.

How is it different from QR linking?

Official gives you interactive buttons, approved templates and a link that does not drop with your phone. QR linking offers groups and statuses, and becomes a «library» for the official number if you want them.

What happens if the subscription ends?

Customer messages still reach your conversations, but the bot stops replying on the official number and campaigns pause until you renew.
